Who is responsible for your information?
Bare Bones Pressure Wash Inc. is an owner-operated pressure-washing business based in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia. Peter Gant is responsible for questions about information submitted through this website.
Information we collect
When you request an estimate through the contact form, the required information is your name and email address. You may also provide a phone number, property location or community, a description of the work, and a property photograph.
If you call, text, or email directly, Bare Bones receives the contact information and message content you choose to provide. Website hosting and security systems may also process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and security events.
Why we use it
Information is used to respond to your inquiry, assess the requested work, prepare or discuss an estimate, communicate about service, prevent form abuse, maintain website security, and meet legitimate accounting or legal obligations.
Bare Bones does not sell or rent personal information and does not use estimate-request information for unrelated marketing without permission.
Service providers and disclosure
Vercel hosts the website and processes contact-form requests. Resend delivers the inquiry notification and customer acknowledgement. Copies are delivered to Peter's business email account and a backup Gmail account. These providers process information on behalf of Bare Bones under their own security and privacy practices.
The gallery includes a video using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed. When that video loads or is played, Google or YouTube may receive technical information about the request and device. Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, BBB, and other external websites are governed by those sites' privacy practices after you follow them.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is handled.
Storage and retention
The website does not place contact-form submissions in a separate customer database. Messages and photographs are retained in business email accounts and may appear temporarily in delivery, hosting, or security logs maintained by the service providers.
Unsuccessful inquiries and uploaded photographs are deleted within 24 months unless an ongoing conversation, completed job, dispute, or accounting or legal requirement makes longer retention necessary. Records connected with completed work may be kept longer when reasonably required for customer service, accounting, insurance, or legal purposes. Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of.
Safeguards
Bare Bones uses HTTPS, restricted service credentials, limited inbox access, file and request limits, origin checks, spam controls, and browser security policies appropriate to this website. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, but reasonable measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Your choices and requests
The phone number, location, message details, and photograph fields are optional. You can request information about how your submission has been used, ask for a correction, or request deletion where continued retention is not required.

Cookies and future changes
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The embedded YouTube player may use browser storage or similar technologies when it loads or is used. If analytics, advertising, or materially different data practices are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before those tools are enabled.
This policy may be updated when the website, service providers, or information-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
